Loughborough Studentpad Awards and Landlord Information Event

Wednesday 4th March 2026 between 14:00 – 17:00

Following the success of last year’s event, they are planning a bigger event with more information and support to help Landlords and accommodation providers navigate the changes in legislation brought about by the Renters Rights Act

This is a free event being held at West Park Teaching Hub

Refreshments will be provided

This event is designed to provide critical updates and practical guidance on the Renters rights Act.

• There will be presentations from Linda Cobb (DASH Services) and Alana Davies (NRLA) explaining the timeline of the new legislation and explaining what Landlords and Accommodation providers need to do, to ensure they are compliant and have communicated with their tenants about the new legislation.
• The event will bring you the latest on other changes that affect Landlords
• There will have an update for you on what the University is doing to partner with various services to help Landlords. To try to sure up stock of Student rental properties in Loughborough.
• There will offer talks on how to prepare for the new renting landscape

Exhibition and Networking

There will be a range of companies, services and community partners exhibiting at the event who you will be able to network with, and see what they have to offer to support Landlords and Accommodation providers

Loughborough Studentpad Awards

The event will also be hosting the Loughborough Studentpad Awards to recognise the best of Loughborough Studentpad’s private property providers, celebrating good practice and quality accommodation for students across the town.
